David S Blanco has been a graphic designer for 17 years and has a wealth of experience in packaging design, editorial design and corporate branding.
Following graduation from Central St. Martins, David worked for East London clothing company, Howies, designing a wide range of t-shirt graphics before starting his own design practice in 2001.
With commercial clients ranging from small start-ups to large corporations and including household names such as Universal Records, RCA Records, Warner Bros, Douglas & Gordon, The Guardian and Fidelity Investments, David has an array of experience to draw from, but keeps his edge working with independents and small businesses, with a natural leaning towards record labels and musicians.
David has designed record covers, merchandise and logos for Rihanna, Alicia Keys and Kanye West, T-shirts for Howies, accessories and fashion prints for luxury label Nat Boyd and much more besides (he designed our logo too, great isn’t it?!).
Alongside his work for commercial clients, David has also developed a range of fine art prints, which can be bought from galleries and shops across the UK and at the occasional art fair.
“I love working with type and images; creating and jogging memories with simple elements, and stripping design down to its basic principles is what I enjoy best.”
